Take a step back in history with the restored 400-year-old barn decorated with fairy lights in Cambridgeshire. The Manor Barn is a working farm, and the space dedicated to weddings is breathtaking, especially inside the barn and the glorious courtyard that has so much to offer.
During A&M’s wedding, they brought guests from all around the world to celebrate their love in the countryside at The Manor Barn.
Wedding morning
The Manor Barn has a luxurious honeymoon suite for either the bride or groom to get ready in on the day of the wedding with the choice of other sleeping arrangements available for your wedding guests.
During A&M’s wedding, the bride got ready off-site with the bridesmaids and her parents. the morning was relaxed filled with bubbly, laughter, gift-giving, and some pampering before we all made our way to meet the groom at the venue for the ceremony. The groom and the rest of the wedding party got ready on-site to greet the guests and have a cheeky pint accompanied by one of my second shooters.
Civil wedding ceremony at The Manor Barn Cambridge
The Manor Barn is proud to have a civil ceremony licence to make your wedding plans come to life, you have the option to get married inside or outside in their new pretty courtyard or if you’re religious you can marry in the church down the road, and celebrate the rest of your wedding day at the wedding venue.
During A&M’s wedding, the ceremony took place inside with flowers decorating the aisle with wooden benches to sit the guests and neon lights hanging from the high ceiling to enhance the wooden backdrop and flower arch. It was a beautiful ceremony and one to remember.

At the Manor Barn Cambridge, they are very flexible with your wedding breakfast and reception wishes depending on your vision whether you like the food trucks with beer on tap or the more elegant feel with champagne and canapes the venue has you covered. During the drinks and canapes, this time is also the perfect way to fit in some formal family photos, snap some fun wedding party images, and get those candids before heading off for couple portraits with your wedding photographer.
During A&M’s wedding, we were blessed with lovely dry weather, so we got to take some snaps outside the wedding venue and within the pretty courtyard. The bubbles were flowing and the guests filled the air with laughter and chatter while enjoying the tastiest canapes socialising inside the entrance of the barn at the bar and outside in the fresh air with the lawn games and open fire space.

As the owners are farmers they take great pride in their food and love to champion local growers and seasonal produce, with their in-house chef available to discuss your wedding wishes. My favourite part about the barn is the cocktail bar.
During A&M’s wedding, the guests greeted the couple with an almightly cheer and waved their napkins in the air, before the couple did a quick group table photo dash, which was fun and a fantastic way to get a photo of everyone at your wedding instead of the formals. The evening was followed by some funny and heartfelt speeches before everyone settled down to a delicious wedding breakfast, bubbles kept flowing, and the cutting of the beautiful wedding cake underneath the fairy-lit barn, before the dancing commenced with the live band.
