Wedding Morning

The morning of your wedding is a special and exciting time, and it’s important to plan to make sure everything goes smoothly. Here are a few things to consider when planning your wedding morning bride and groom prep.

Wedding Morning Schedule

Plan out a schedule for the morning of your wedding, including when you and your partner will wake up, when you’ll start getting ready, and when you’ll leave for the ceremony. It’s a good idea to allow plenty of time for unexpected delays or last-minute preparations.

Wedding Morning Location

Consider where you and your partner will get ready for the wedding. This could be at your own home, at a hotel, or a separate location such as a bridal suite at your wedding venue or salon. Make sure the location is comfortable and convenient and has enough space and amenities for you and your wedding party.

Wedding Morning Breakfast

Make sure you and your wedding party have plenty to eat and drink during the morning prep. This could include a light breakfast, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. You don’t want to start your big day hungry or thirsty!

Wedding Morning Playlist

Consider playing some music during the morning prep to set a relaxed and happy mood. This could be a playlist of your favorite songs, or a special playlist created just for your wedding day.

Wedding Morning Photos

Decide whether you want your photographer to be present during the morning prep. Some couples like to have their photographer capture the behind-the-scenes moments of getting ready, while others prefer to keep this time private. Talk to your photographer to discuss your preferences and make sure you’re on the same page.

-Wedding invitations or any items you wish to be included E.g something blue or that special locket picture from a passed loved one.

Wedding morning clutter

The less clutter in the room the better the documentary photography style will look in your final images, and on the morning after the wedding details, photographers generally make sure to always capture some natural getting ready shoots, i.e. friends or family helping you get into your dress, putting on your veil and shoes. The same approach is normally covered on the groom’s side with a second shooter i.e. capturing friends or family assisting the groom with his tie, cliff links, shoes, and corsage boutonniere.
But speak with your wedding photographer to check their general approach on the morning of your wedding day as everyone is different.

Wedding photographer

Please make sure your photographer is aware of any additional ideas, wishes, or requests, so we can capture these moments. After the wedding details, getting ready for candid shoots, and the all-important intimate moments of getting into your dress with your wedding party or family helping you or not, we photographers leave to head to the ceremony and sometimes this involves a drive or just another room within the venue, but we prep so we don’t miss the most important part of the day – the ceremony.
